Love:
- The TV show - Castle. Just discovered it today, on-line.
- Old scary movies, which in turn, aren't scary.
- Batman graphic novels. Great to read when you are feeling like crap.

- Using a shaving brush and soap. I haven't used it in a while. I forgot how awesome it is.
- Molasses Cookies - I treated myself to a box of Archways. Actually, there's not an Archway cookie that I don't like!
Going to be a short one tonight...

- The weather - the times I do want to go out, it's been miserable.
- People not backing up their data. If you need help or have questions, ask me. I'll try to get you started.
Love:
- Getting back in the habit of lifting. There are times where I miss my old philosophy of No pain, No pain. However, I'm starting to feel better about myself, even though I have minimal use of my arms and my chest hurts.
- The leaves are starting to change.
- My crazy dreams. Lord knows I have issues. Last night I dreamed that I was hanging with Joe Paterno. I have no idea why I picked him, but there he was.
- My iPod. I know I bring it up often, but it does provide me much happiness.
- The first two episodes of Family Guy this season have been outrageously funny.
Loathe:
- Piddling away the morning. Especially when it's my day off.
- Not being at a beach. It's cold and misty outside.
- Creepy people. Sorry if I sound judgmental, but there's a bunch huddled around a big table, here at the coffee shop. They're kinda spooky looking
- An overcooked steak. (Oh it breaks my heart)
- Buying a song and become sick of it after 4 plays.
- Wanting to buys a song off of iTunes or Amazon and it's an "album only" track.
- Forgetting yesterday was Monday - I'm actually watching NFL this year and forgot about Monday Night Football.
- This book I'm reading - A Savage Place by Robert B. Parker. It's taking me till Chapter 18 to finally get into it.
- That some of my friends were laid off last Friday.
- That I've become addicted to Facebook. (Still better than crack)
Love:
- Making the best of it. Yes, it's cold and gray outside. Perfect weather to camp at the coffee shop with a good book.
- College Football. This is probably the most I've watched. I normally just watch my Buckeye's play "Tressle Ball" and that's it. Watching all kinds of great games this season.
- The season opener for NCIS. Thought it was pretty solid.
- My Boss' sense of humor. I'm glad he has one. It's probably why I'm still employed. (If not getting fired, quit)
- I'm grateful that I'm employed.
- Halloween is around the corner. Bring on the monster flics!
- Cleaning out one of my closets and filling up a 30 gallon trash bag worth of crap (God, I have a lot of crap)
- Lifting. I just started up again. Yes, I'm in misery, but it's a good pain. I just need to make it a habit.
- Shaving using shaving soap and brush. I normally don't mess with it during the summer, but I've gotten back in the groove again. I just need to get a better brush (on that doesn't shed).
Loathe:
- Being in a bad mood. Have been for a while and I can't shake it. I should clarify - I'm only in a bad mood at work.
- Not having any plans yet for next week's shutdown.
- Need more distractions outside of work.
- Been missing my Dad..a lot.
Love:
- Carmel Apples from Goumas Candyland.

- Fall is near.
- My Vox and Facebook friends.
- Thankful to be more precise, that I'm not in any major debt.
- In theory...that we will get our 5% pay cut, re-instated come January. Still no matching 401K, but it's a start.
- Finding my Dad's old Arkansas sharpening stone. One word - memories. I used to watch in aw as a little kid, watching my Dad sharpening his hunting knife.

- Farting away my three day weekend.
Love:
- The steak I cooked out on the grill yesterday.
- Triscuits - Fire Roasted Tomato and Olive Oil.
- Grinding my teeth at night.
I need to get back in habit of this, but here we go...
Loathe:
- Honda giving me crap about a service bulletin part. They wanted to charge me $180 for something that they should of fixed back in 2008 and was fighting it since my warranty expired this May. It just started happening in June. Anyhow, I'm now paying just 10% of it - actually $17.90.
- Honda telling me that the part they had to order (see above), was in. I dropped off my car this morning, only to get a call before lunch that not all the parts are here.
- Maxwell House coffee - it's been a while since I've had it and it still sucks.
- My willpower - I've been stress eating too much at work.
- Another one of my cameras conked out.
Love:
- My Boss' and Site Manager's sense of humor...thank God, or I would be unemployed right now if they didn't have one.
- This weather....I love the eve of Fall.
- Spending my lunches at a park.
- Post's Vanilla and Almond Shredded Wheat cereal.
- My new Sigg water bottle.
- Free coffee mugs - sometimes it's the simple things...
Loathe:
- The fact that every time I want to work on my forecast, I get hit with another project.
- Sarbanes-Oxley - To be more precise - that I'm an internal auditor. Finance is my least favorite subject to begin with. Also, while I don't make a six figure salary, I'd think it would be better served to have someone from the outside, who is more intelligent in the subject matter, would be better served. Sadly, myself and a few other internal auditors has indeed discovered findings.
- The fact that I have not one, but two iPods and both are at work. It's very quite tonight, in my bedroom...
- That I'm low on vacation days. Need to save them for the plant shutdowns.
- One of my cameras died - a Canon Powershot S500.
- BLTs
- Wii Tennis
- The fact that College Football is around the corner.
- The song, Rock Your Body Rock by Ferry Corsten. It's nothing new, but I can't get enough of it here lately.
- Google Chrome - I'm using it more and more on my notebook. It's so much quicker than Firefox. I just miss some of FF's plug-ins.
- This is going to sound stupid, but I'm more active with the Wii (between the sports and the fit). I think it's going to be a great thing this winter.
Yes...I suck.
Loathe:
- Oracle/ASCP - Oracle has potential. I don't think we as a company, are using it correctly. ASCP just plain sucks.
- Mosquito bites - got one last night, just above my wrist.
- My A/C deciding to quit working just as the 90 degree weather hits.
- Watching a lady today, during lunch, pull into a non-parking space and hitting the car (which is legally parked) across from her. Are you that stupid??
Love:
- The Nintendo Wii - Yes, it's less than a week old, but I think I'll use it a lot. Especially with the fitness games/activities.
- I'm starting to purge some of my crap. Just dumped a tub full of old photography magazines. More to come!
- Love may be a strong word, but I just now got into the TV show, Las Vegas. (Thank you Mr. DVR)
- And from that, I just now discovered Vanessa Marcil. Holy crap she's hot!!
- My FB friends.
Once again, I forgot to do this yesterday so...
- Temperatures in the 90+ range - my A/C can't cope with it and neither can I. The only thing acceptable for this kind of heat is a swimming pool and I don't have one.
- My house - It was neglected during Physical Inventory week and was housing sitting the week after that. I hope to get it back into somewhat order this weekend.
- The constant interruptions at work - I've resorted to hiding out in another office just to get some things done.
- While I was late again getting to work, I was able to sleep for 7+ hours straight last night. I've been waking up in the middle of the night and having a hard time going back to sleep for the last few weeks.
- My new cell phone (LG Env3). Sure, it's not as sexy as the iPhone, Pre, or Blackberry, but it has everything I need and it's small enough to put in my pocket. I'm not a cell phone holster kind of guy.
- Catching up with Amy. It's been close to a month since we've really talked. Ended up on the phone with her for two and a half hours this weekend and loved every minute of it.
- The TV show, Vegas. I never really watched it when it was on prime time. I've been catching the re-runs on TBS during lunch. It's not too bad. Plus there's some great eye candy on there too.
- My new hiding spot at work. :-)
