So, it rained most of Saturday.  There were some nice moments on Sunday, but every time I go out, it got dark like it was going to rain.  It finally did that evening.  Today started off nice.  I ended up taking my lunch to a park near by, having a pseudo pick nick.  Since it was beautiful out, and the weather man didn't call for rain, I decided to leave open my sun roof open a bit.  Big mistake.  About an hour afterward, it was pouring!  I lucked out.  It wasn't too bad inside.  At least it hasn't been in the 90s.  

Well once again, I fell asleep with my notebook in bed.  Fortunately, I didn't jack up my wrists.  Unfortunately, I had a hard time going back to sleep and was up for 2+ hours.  My butt is dragging!!!  This is about as bad as being hungover (without the headache and vomiting).

I've lost all ability to focus.  My threshold for stupidity is almost down to Zero, and I'm thirsty for some cold beer.

Well it looks like there is a leak in water tank.  I can't tell for sure cause it's weged in my kitchen pantry, but it looks like it's coming from the behind it.  Great...I wonder how much this is going to cost me?!?!

Woke up this morning with a giant puddle of water in the middle of the kitchen floor.  Not sure where the water came from.  Now I'm at work...needing to run a report and Oracle is still down.  Hopefully the water thing is some weird fluke.  There's no spots on my ceiling, my water tank is dry and so is the cabinet under the sink.

Either I'm in a Twilight Zone episode or all of my friends have disappeared.  Hmm...guess the universe is telling me to go read a book.  It's only Monday and I'm bored!  I need someone to play with.  I so need to get into some new circle once I've recovered.  Anyhow...my throat/neck is totally kicking my ass tonight.  Ended up taking two Vicodins this evening.  Not good!  On a personal note....I truly miss my Dad.  I could of really used his company today.  I actually was a little pissed that he wasn't around and I'm pretty sure this was the 1st time I've ever felt that since he's passed.  Kinda felt guilty now.  I did stop over at my Mom's today for a few.  She's in a funk right now as well.  I swear that some 13 year old emo girl is actually inside of her.  At least she reconized that she has the winter blahs.  I so want to go out and take pictures today, but my little excursion to the library this afternoon reminded me that I need to take it slow this week.  On a final note - I've developed a craving for plain old oat meal...not the instant kind, but the plain jane oat meal.  I cannot get enough of it.  Weird!

Had a friend over last night.  We ended up watching the Cardinals/Eagles game.  Anyhow, not having anyone to talk to for a couple of days, I yapped my head off.  This resulted into a sore throat later that evening and a worse one later that night.  I guess I need to be like Ozzy in the one commercial and text people for the next couple of days.

Well, I'm 2 out of 3 today on the home repair.  It looks like I need a new hose (the one that connects the toilet to the wall.  It's where the leak is coming from, but I'm not able to unscrew it from the water inlet valve.  I can unscrew it from the toilet and turn it all I want on the valve, but it doesn't want to unscrew itself.  That has me a bit worried.  Anyhow, needing a self esteem boost, I went for the easy kill and replaced both shower heads in my bathrooms and managed to get my dishwasher to stop squeaking during the rinse cycle (pure luck on that one).  Anyhow, I still need to fix the flush valve seal on the toilet as well.  Thank God I have another toilet or I'd given up and call a plumber a long time ago. 
I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to replace the stem of a sink handle.  Did that earlier this week.  My Mom got a new sink not to long ago and it would drip even when the cold water handle was turned off.  All and all though, I'd rather leave this stuff to the pro's. 

Which is probably a good thing...  Went to my local Burger King for lunch today and was informed that they were out of all burger products today and only had chicken sandwiches.  Wasn't sure if I was part of a commercial or not, but I bailed.  Ended up going to Wendy's instead.  Anyhow, what kind of moron do you have to be, owning a Burger King restaurant and run out of hamburgers?!??!??  Someone needs a wedgie...STAT!

Well in the vein of burning up remaining vacation, I took a 1/2 day Thursday and all of Friday off.  I was still feeling ill effects from the cold from hell (imagine the flu, without the fever, plus a sore throat).  I ended up crashing on my bed shortly after I got home and woke up around 4is.  It went really south Thursday night - my bridge broke.  For those who don't know, I was born without an adult tooth.  If you take your two front teeth and go over one to the right, that's the one that is missing.  Back to the dentist...  I ended up getting in there around noon and ended up the bridge was too damaged for repair.  At that point, I decided to look into getting an implant instead of another bridge.  Seeing how that process won't start until January, I needed a temporary fix.  So they hooked me up with a poor mans dentures with just the missing too.  The good part is that I got it later that evening.  The bad part is that it nearly cost me $500 and it's uncomfortable to wear.  I would of said the hell with it, but seeing how it's going to be about a month or so before I have another fake tooth installed, I needed something.  I feel like I'm back in high school and I'm wearing my retainer. 

It was suppose to be simple...I was planing to go to Columbus yesterday and ended up with this BS. 

On another note...I'm not enjoying the Eharmony experience.  I don't see me continuing it after this month.
