Meant to post this last night!
Happy 4th Everyone!!!
#1 - My washing machine, which is over 11 years old, is really making some bad noises when the motor is engaged. Should I A) Pay someone to come and and fix it or B) Just buy a new one? If it makes any difference, it's a Kenmore Series 80. (Yeah...I didn't think it would)
#2 - As long as it's been out there, I've been using Lever 2000 to wash all my body parts and I'm ok with that. However, is there something else out there that is better? What do you guys use for bath soap?
Told you that there was going to be a couple odd questions!
I await your answers!
Do not, I repeat, do not fall asleep in bed, with your notebook on your chest. I woke up this morning with my hands still on the keyboard. My right wrist is killing me an my hand has gone numb/cold a couple of times.
We now return you to your regular programing...
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful 4th of July. I've already had my fair share of grilled food! And yes, I love the smell of fireworks in the morning!
Loathe:
- Unable to find Golden Crisps cereal for about a month now
- Honey Smacks - So not the same as Golden Crisps
- Meijers....actually the self checkout lanes at the grocery stores. If I just have a basket, it's no big deal, but when I have a cart full, it gets annoying. Especially when I have to look up certain items (like the coffee), there's seven different options and I pick the wrong one (mine was on sale...$2 off a pound).
- Having to go shop for a new pair of sneakers/tennis shoes, clothes, etc....
- Not sure what I want to do/where I want to go this week...
- Having a small kitchen
Love:
- Waking up happy (it's been a while). Perhaps it's cause I don't have to work this week.
- Cooking out on the grill
- Shopping for a new lens for my DSLR. It's summer time and I deserve it!!
- Getting my A/C recharged (Thanks to Shaw Mechanical)
- My water cooler - it's been getting a workout this week.
- Naps...they should be part of everyone's daily routine
- Spell check - for making me seem more intelligent than I really am.
- The ladies at Caribou!
Another observation... For those men (and I use that term loosely), PAY for your girlfriends coffee (instead of letting her buy yours) and for God sakes, order something more manly than some fruity drink with cool-whip...especially when your teenage girlfriend orders coffee for herself. YES...I'm old fashion when it comes to these things.
To prevent any awkwardness in my part, please make sure your SON is dressed like a boy and does not have long hair. That is all....
How green is your school, office, or home?
Sponsored by One Million Acts of Green brought to you by Cisco. At home, I use (and love) those compact florescent light bulbs. You'd be surprise how much $$ you save. At work...well, our plant was built in 1951 and has the latest technology that the 1980s can provide. You do the math.
How well do you think you know yourself? How well do others think they know you? Which is more important?

Over the last five years, I've learned a lot about myself, especially when my Father died. Up until I was about 30, I was only half the man I am today (or just realizing it). I will always continue to learn more about myself, but I do know my strengths and weaknesses. "A Man's got to know his own limitations."
As to my friends, I'm guessing Coates know's me the best and probably know's things about me that I don't know about myself (or see). Ward and Corll would also give a run for their money as well. I'm banking that Amy can out scoop them with a couple things too.
Which is more important? Knowing yourself. It sets the direction on how you act in any situation that life brings. Most importantly, knowing that you constantly have to take time out to observe and reflect.
'Fess up: What do you do that's bad for the environment?
